We designed and implemented a JubiDOC–PrestaShop integration for Korn jewellery stores. It combines product, sales and availability information from physical stores and the online shop to create shared inventory information for both channels.

Two sales channels, two systems

Korn sells through physical jewellery stores and online. Its stores use JubiDOC, an inventory and trading system containing availability, sales and product-attribute data. The online shop runs on PrestaShop.

The challenge was to connect that information into a working process. With multiple sales channels, online availability needs to account for activity in physical stores, while catalog handling should not require maintaining the same data independently in every system.

What does the integration handle?

  • Availability and sales data: collecting information about available, sold and ordered products from physical stores and the online shop.
  • Shared inventory information: combining the data needed to operate both sales channels.
  • Product-attribute updates: sending selected product data to PrestaShop.
  • New products: supporting the addition of further items to the online catalog.

SOAP and REST API communication

The integration communicates with JubiDOC through its SOAP API and with PrestaShop through its REST API. The integration layer therefore connects systems exposing different interfaces. The project’s technology stack includes Laravel and MySQL.

The connection covers a defined set of data: products, selected attributes and information needed to update inventory. This makes it possible to describe each system’s responsibilities and establish which data should reach the store.

What did the implementation change?

Korn received a mechanism for automatically updating stock and handling product data between its physical-store environment and PrestaShop. Physical and online sales use connected information rather than remaining separate sources of availability.

The integration also supports catalog development through selected attribute updates and the addition of new products. The connection therefore covers inventory quantities as well as part of the day-to-day work on the product range.

Need to connect your store to an inventory system?

We develop custom applications and integrations for processes requiring data exchange between systems. Existing solutions can be covered by our technical support and further development.

In your inquiry, describe the inventory system, store platform, available APIs and information to be exchanged. See also our PrestaShop–WAPRO integration and Cloudshop store with enova365 integration.
